A Calm Space for Your Records

Retirement paperwork can feel overwhelming, especially from abroad. We keep things simple, clear, and entirely at your pace.

Plain Language, Always

We translate pension-speak into straightforward English so you can follow along without a financial background.

Your Pace, Your Choices

No rushing, no pressure. Every session moves at the speed that works for you, and all decisions remain entirely your own.

Directed to the Right Places

We help you identify which official offices to contact, so your questions reach the people with the authority to answer them.

Structured, Reusable Systems

You walk away with a filing method you can actually maintain on your own — labelled, indexed, and easy to navigate later.

Strictly Informational

We are an educational and organisational service. We do not give advice that requires a professional licence, and we do not represent you to anyone.

Based in Chiang Mai

We work in person from our Huay Kaew Road office, with a relaxed setting suited to retirees and long-stay residents in northern Thailand.

Frequently Asked Questions

What exactly do you do in a session?
We sit with you, look at the documents you have, and help you create a clear labelled folder system. For workshop sessions, we walk through the common vocabulary and structure of retirement statements so they feel more familiar. We do not read your documents to assess your entitlements or tell you what you should do — that remains your business.
Do I need to bring all my paperwork?
Bring whatever you have and whatever feels manageable. There is no expectation that everything is in order before you arrive — sorting through what exists is part of what the session covers. If documents are digital, we can work with printed copies you bring along.
Are you financial advisers or lawyers?
No. Almanac is an educational and organisational service only. We do not provide financial, legal, or tax advice, and we do not hold any regulated professional licence. If you need advice on entitlements or financial planning, we will point you towards the relevant official contacts — but that advice comes from them, not from us.
How long does each session take?
The Paperwork Sorting Session typically runs two to three hours depending on the volume of documents. The Statements Workshop runs approximately ninety minutes. The Guided Organisation & Signposting Programme is spread across several appointments over a few weeks, so there is no rush.
Where do the sessions take place?
Sessions are held at our office at 15 Huay Kaew Road, Muang, Chiang Mai. The room is quiet and private. If you have mobility considerations, please mention this when booking so we can make appropriate arrangements.
What does the Signposting Programme do differently?
It combines the document organisation work with a personal checklist and a structured list of the official channels — government departments, embassy services, pension scheme administrators — that are relevant to your situation. We help you understand who to contact and why; the contact itself is always yours to make.
Are the prices shown in Thai Baht?
Yes, all prices are in Thai Baht (฿). Payment is accepted in cash or by bank transfer. We will confirm the current details when you book.
