Our Services
Three Ways to Get Your Records in Order
Whether you need a single practical session or a longer programme of support, each service is designed to leave you more organised and better informed — at your own pace.
Back to HomeHow We Work
Our Approach to Document Organisation
Every service at Almanac starts with the same question: what do you have, and what do you want to be able to do with it? From there, we follow a consistent method — inventory, sort, label, reference — adapted in scope depending on which service you have chosen.
We do not begin by asking you to explain your financial situation. That is not what we are here for. We are interested in the physical or printed documents in front of us: which pile they belong in, what the heading on the first section says, and where to find the reference number if you need to quote it to an administrator.
All sessions take place in our private office on Huay Kaew Road. Nothing leaves the room. You receive printed materials to take away — an index, a glossary, or a signposting list — as appropriate to the service.
Inventory First
Every session begins with a quick count of what you have brought, so nothing is missed.
Label and Index
Documents are grouped, labelled, and recorded in a written index you keep.
Plain-Language Notes
Where terminology needs explaining, we add a simple note — in a glossary or directly on a reference sheet.
Signposting Where Needed
For the Guided Programme, we provide a list of the official contacts relevant to your documents.
Service 01
Personal Paperwork Sorting Session
A practical sit-down to help you organise your own retirement-related records into a clear, labelled system you can maintain. We help with structure and filing only; we do not assess entitlements or speak on your behalf. You leave with a tidy folder and a simple index you can navigate on your own.
What the session includes:
- Document inventory — a count of what you have brought
- Grouping by document type and source
- Folder and label setup using your own materials or ours
- Printed folder index provided at the end
- Brief written session summary to take away
How the session works:
Arrival and brief discussion of what you have brought
Inventory and rough sorting into document types
Labelling and folder creation with a system you choose
Index printed and reviewed together
Questions, and written session summary provided
Service 02
Understanding Your Statements Workshop
A short educational session that walks through, in general terms, the common parts of retirement and pension statements and the vocabulary used, so the documents feel less daunting. Includes a plain-language glossary and a list of official information sources. No personal eligibility is discussed in this session.
What the workshop includes:
- Overview of common statement sections and headings
- Plain-language glossary handout (yours to keep)
- Reference sheet listing official information sources
- Time for general questions throughout
- Brief written summary of topics covered
Workshop structure (approx. 90 minutes):
Introduction and overview of session scope
Walkthrough of common statement layouts and sections
Glossary review — terminology in plain language
Official sources reference sheet explained
Open questions and written summary provided
